Scope
This document provides the evaluation method and background information of measurement uncertainty, and gives guidance on general considerations of measurement uncertainty in relevant national standards (converted from the IEC61000 series of standards). The purpose of this document is to provide advice to technical committees, product committees and conformity assessment bodies on the preparation of measurement uncertainty reports; to allow comparison of these reports between laboratories with similar influence quantities; to make domestic and electromagnetic compatibility ( The various technical committees related to EMC) have consistent treatment of measurement uncertainty. Any contributing factors to measurement uncertainty mentioned in this document should be considered as examples. It is the responsibility of the technical committee responsible for developing the basic immunity standard to identify factors contributing to the measurement uncertainty of its basic test method. This document describes the following content: --- Evaluation method of measurement uncertainty (MU); --- Mathematical formula of probability density function; --- Analysis and evaluation of statistical evaluation; --- Correction of measurement data; --- -document. This document does not summarize all the influencing quantities of measurement uncertainty, nor does it specify how measurement uncertainty will be taken into account when determining compliance with EMC requirements. NOTE: Some of the examples given in this document are from other IEC publications other than the IEC61000 series of standards that have completed the assessment procedures described here. These examples serve to illustrate the principles.
