Scope

This document specifies the minimum requirements for weather balloons and describes their test methods. This document applies to weather balloons made of natural latex or a combination of natural latex and synthetic latex. This document applies to the following two categories of balloons: 　——- Category 1: weather balloons made by dipping method; 　——— Category 2: weather balloons made by rotation method.
