This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life of camellia extracts. This standard applies to camellia extracts used as cosmetic raw materials extracted from the flowers of Camellia Japonica/reticulata, a plant of the Camellia family, made from organic alcohols such as glycerin, propylene glycol, or water, or a mixed liquid of both in appropriate proportions. (Hereinafter collectively referred to as camellia extract). Its main active ingredient is polyphenols.
