This standard applies to smooth steel seamless casing and core pipes and nipples for them, used for fastening wells and taking cores during geological exploration drilling, as well as the threads of these pipes and nipples and related products. The standard does not apply to double core tubes and core tubes used for core sampling with shells with removable core receivers
