Scope

This standard provides principles and requirements for organizations that provide supply chain safety management system auditing and certification based on management system specifications and standards (such as ISO28000). This standard specifies the minimum requirements for certification bodies and their associated auditors, identifying unique requirements for confidentiality when auditing and certifying client organizations. Requirements for supply chain safety management systems may come from many aspects. The purpose of this standard is to help certify supply chain safety management systems that comply with ISO28000 "Supply Chain Safety Management System Specification" and other international standards for supply chain safety management systems. . The content of this standard can also be used to support supply chain security management system certification based on other specific supply chain security management system requirements. This standard: 　——- Provides consistent guidance for the accreditation of certification bodies applying ISO28000 (or other specific supply chain safety management system requirements); 　——— Clarifies the application of ISO28000 (or other specific supply chain safety management system requirements) to certification bodies Supply chain safety management system requirements) implement the rules for auditing and certification of supply chain safety management systems; 　——Provide customers with the necessary information and confidence about how their suppliers can obtain certification. Note 1: Supply chain safety management system certification is sometimes called “registration”, and certification bodies are sometimes called “registration agencies”. Note 2: Certification bodies may be non-governmental or governmental (with or without statutory authority). Note 3: This standard can be used as a criterion document for accreditation, peer review or other audit processes.
