Scope
This document describes a method for the determination of total organic nitrogen and any ammoniacal nitrogen in photographic processing effluents by the Kjeldahl method. This method can determine the total Kjeldahl nitrogen in the waste liquid of photography processing, the concentration range is 10 mg/L~200 mg/L as ammonia, or the concentration range is 8 mg/L~160 mg/L as nitrogen. If the ammoniacal nitrogen is determined separately and subtracted (see ISO 6853), the concentration of organic amino nitrogen can be determined.
