Scope
This standard specifies the portable Fourier transform infrared instrument method for the determination of inorganic harmful gases in ambient air. This standard is a qualitative and semi-quantitative method, suitable for on-site emergency monitoring of inorganic harmful gases such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, nitric oxide, sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen chloride, hydrogen cyanide, hydrogen fluoride, nitrous oxide, and ammonia in ambient air. As well as preliminary investigation work such as screening and census. Other inorganic gases can also be measured by this method if they pass verification. The detection limit and lower determination limit of this method are shown in Appendix A.
