This standard is intended to be applied to facade scaffolding that is constructed with prefabricated building elements that are anchored and not covered. If the requirements stated in the standard are met, the scaffolding may be mounted according to this standard up to a height of 30 m (measured from ground level). This standard:
——provides guidelines for the selection of the main dimensions of prefabricated system scaffolding;
——classifies the system scaffolding into groups depending on the load exerted on them;
——defines the properties of the materials to be used;
——indicates safety requirements and dimensions;
——describes a basic design of a scaffolding construction. The standard does not specify requirements for covered scaffolding, nor the requirements for ladder parts or other accesses between the working platforms.
