This standard establishes the methods and means for the verification of wow (W), weighted flutter (WTD) and unweighted (W and F) and drift meters, with measurement intervals from 0.01 to 3% for W and F, both for meters that measure effective values and for those that measure peak-to-peak values and with errors equal to or greater than 2%. In the drift, the measurement range will be from ± 0.01 to ± 9.99% at frequencies of 3 or 3.15 kHz and with a precision of ± 20 ppm ± 1 least significant digit.
