Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, basic requirements, RCBO characteristics, markings and other product information, standard working conditions for use and installation, and structure of electromagnetic residual current-operated circuit breakers with overcurrent protection (hereinafter referred to as RCBO). and operational requirements, testing, packaging, transportation and storage, and quality commitments. The RCBO specified in this standard is suitable for AC rated frequency 50 Hz, 60 Hz or 50/60 Hz, rated voltage not exceeding 440 V, rated current not exceeding 125 A, rated short-circuit capacity not exceeding 25 000 A, and the operating function has nothing to do with the power supply voltage Electromagnetic residual current operated circuit breakers with overcurrent protection for household and similar purposes. The RCBO specified in this standard is used to protect people from indirect contact.
