- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic parameters and models, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and quality commitment of thermosyphon evaporators. This standard is applicable to thermosiphon evaporators for indirect refrigeration systems with evaporation temperatures of -45°C to 5°C, using Freon refrigerants such as R404A, R507A and ammonia (R717) refrigerants.
