Scope: This document provides guidance for the selection of appropriate vibration criteria for a particular machine type and thus the selection of appropriate vibration measurement and evaluation methods. An overview of GB/T6075, GB/T11348 and other standards related to machine vibration. This document gives an overview of the relevant standards and summarizes their scope of application. It also gives the basis for theoretical analysis for determining whether to perform vibration measurements on non-rotating components, rotating shafts, or both, for those machines with no previous experience. Due to the existence of characteristics that may lead to the selection of different most appropriate measurement methods for a specific machine, this document is not intended to replace the actual experience of the specific machine that the manufacturer or user already has. The purpose of this document is not to enable the reader to grasp all the technical details of the standards required for measuring and evaluating work on a particular machine, but to guide the reader in selecting the appropriate standards, which give the necessary details.
