Scope
This standard specifies the method principles, reagents and methods for the determination of seven benzene series compounds in seawater using purge and trap/gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, including benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, p-xylene, m-xylene, o-xylene and styrene. Preparation, instrumentation and equipment, sample collection and preservation, assay procedures, result calculation and processing, quality assurance, method detection limits, accuracy and precision. This standard is applicable to the determination of 7 benzene series compounds in seawater. The determination range is 50.0 ng/L~2000.0 ng/L, and the method detection limit is 7.2 ng/L~12.2 ng/L.
