Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product models, basic requirements, technical requirements, product markings, test methods, inspection rules, markings, packaging and storage of oval gear flow meters (hereinafter referred to as flow meters). This standard is applicable to oval gear flow meters for measuring liquids, which are composed of a flow transmitter and a display part and can display cumulative flow (or) instantaneous flow. It is not applicable to oval gear flow meters for measuring gas media.
