This document stipulates the requirements, operating methods and procedures, safety precautions, maintenance, etc. for laser removal of floating foreign objects on transmission lines. This document is applicable to the laser removal operations of suspended floating foreign matter on poles and towers of live transmission lines and conductors and ground wires with voltage levels of AC 110 (66) kV and above and DC ±400kV and above. This document does not apply to insulated conductor lines with voltage levels of 20kV and below. Lines with other voltage levels and power outage lines can be implemented as a reference.
