This document stipulates the definition, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage, transportation, and shelf life requirements for cereals and legumes products rich in γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA). This document applies to grain products such as rice, wheat, highland barley, and edible beans such as mung beans, adzuki beans, and kidney beans, which are processed through GABA enrichment technology into GABA-rich grain products and powder products that are further crushed or matured.
