Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) single-wall threaded pipes (hereinafter referred to as pipes) for underground use. This standard applies to protective sleeves used to protect conductors or cables in electrical installations below 1000 V.
