Scope

This standard specifies the requirements and detection methods for heavy metal indicators dissolved into drinking water during use of drinking water transmission and distribution valves. This standard is applicable to the safety evaluation of heavy metal indicators of water transmission and distribution valves with a nominal size not larger than DN400 that are in direct contact with drinking water.
