- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, labeling, storage and transportation of reusable daily protective masks. This standard applies to reusable protective masks worn in daily life to filter particles in the air and block dust, smoke, droplets, microorganisms, pollen, catkins, etc. This standard does not apply to respiratory protective equipment for special industries such as hypoxic environments, underwater operations, escape, firefighting, and medical care. This standard does not apply to respiratory protective masks for infants and children.
