This standard specifies the automated Nessler reagent spectrophotometric method for the determination of ammonia nitrogen in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of ammonia nitrogen in surface water, groundwater, drinking water, domestic sewage and industrial wastewater. When direct injection, the detection limit of this method is 0.02mg/L, and the detection range is 0.08mg/L~2.00mg/L; when distillation injection, the detection limit of this method is 0.05mg/L, and the detection range is 0.20mg /L~8.00mg/L. When the sample concentration exceeds the measurement range, it should be measured after dilution.
