Scope: This standard specifies the sanitary protection distance required between plastic factories and residential areas. This standard applies to new plastic factories and their expansion and reconstruction projects located in plains and micro-hill areas. Existing plastic factories can refer to the implementation. The sanitary protection distance of plastic factories located in complex terrain conditions should be jointly determined by the competent department of the construction unit and the competent department of health and environmental protection of the province or autonomous region where the construction project is located according to the air environment quality evaluation report.
