Scope
This standard specifies an ion chromatography method for the determination of soluble cations (Li+, Na+, NH4+, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+) in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of 6 soluble cations (Li+, Na+, NH4+, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+) in surface water, groundwater, industrial wastewater and domestic sewage. When the injection volume is 25 µl, the detection limits and lower determination limits of the six soluble cations in this method are shown in Table 1.
