- Scope
- This standard is applicable to the following scopes; (1) Investigation of corrosion and protection of the outer wall of buried steel pipelines; (2) Investigation of corrosion and protection of the outer wall of steel storage tanks and the inner wall of tanks storing crude oil and water; (3) Zones for transporting crude oil and water Investigation of pipeline inner wall corrosion and protection. The corrosion and protection investigations on the inner and outer walls of steel pipelines or containers transporting other media, the outer walls of process pipelines in stations (warehouses), and the inner walls of long-distance pipelines can all be carried out with reference to this standard.
