- This standard specifies the test parameters, measuring point locations, test instrument requirements for crude oil loss, the selection of oil field gas samples, as well as test analysis methods and basic formulas. This standard is applicable to the testing of the oil loss in the oil field gas belt, the breathing loss of storage tanks and tankers (ships), and the oil loss in sewage during the entire gathering, transportation, and stabilization process of crude oil in the oil field from the extraction of the oil well to the transportation out of the oil field.
