Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the static strength, stiffness and stability of railway diesel locomotives and electric locomotive body structures. This standard applies to standard gauge railway diesel locomotives and electric locomotives with a maximum speed not exceeding 160km/h. Non-standard gauge railway diesel locomotives and electric locomotives should be used with reference.
