Scope

This standard specifies the cleanliness measurement methods and limits for fuel injection pump assemblies, injector assemblies and spare parts used in diesel locomotive engines. This standard applies to the fuel injection pump assembly, injector assembly and plunger assembly, oil delivery valve assembly and injector assembly (including new parts and repair parts) for diesel locomotive engines.
