- The temperature, temperature gradient, humidity and atmospheric pressure listed in the first part of this standard refer to industrial process measurement and control systems or system components for land or coast use in specified locations, during work and after the equipment is installed but not yet in use. or environmental conditions during storage and transportation. Maintenance and repair conditions are not included. Working conditions directly related to fire, explosion and nuclear radiation are also not considered in this standard. For the standard atmospheric conditions used for measurement, please refer to SJ/Z9001.1-87 (IEC 68-1) Basic Environmental Test Procedures: Part 1: General Principles and Guidelines. The influencing factors considered in this standard are limited to parameters that have a direct impact on the working performance of the system, without considering the impact on operators under working conditions. Only work tasks are considered, and the impact of various conditions on the instrument is not considered. The limit values or groups of limit values specified in this standard are only applicable to the various working conditions listed. Other operating conditions, including those that are difficult to define and measure. and values for which no suitable standard exists. will be included in other parts of the standard. Corrosive atmospheres are an example of hard-to-define working conditions. Classification is currently difficult due to the variety and concentration of corrosive substances and the combined effects of corrosive substances that may be encountered. Note: Similar issues are currently being studied by IEC Technical Committee 75 (Classification of Environmental Conditions). This standard will be considered again after the standards of this technical committee are promulgated.
