- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. for pressure-type test condenser microphones. This standard applies to test condenser microphones with nominal diameters of 23.77mm and 12.7mm and polarization voltages of 200V, 28V and 0V. This test condenser microphone is used in sound pressure measurements. Other tests on condenser microphones can be performed with reference to this standard.
