- This document is based on current practice for measuring cathode heating time and hot wire heating time. It is not intended to be a recommendation document of a standard nature, since if test results based on these principles have to be compared within defined tolerances, a more detailed description of the test method is required. The circuit described may be subject to detailed changes, if they do not alter the test principle and accuracy of the circuit. Any changes made should maintain the relationship required by the measurement results.
