- This standard specifies the integrity requirements and inspection and evaluation methods for vapor double-effect lithium bromide absorption refrigerators. This standard applies to double-effect lithium bromide absorption refrigerators that use saturated steam as power, lithium bromide aqueous solution as absorbent, and water as refrigerant to prepare cold water for air conditioning or production processes. Lithium bromide absorption refrigerators should also be used with reference. This standard does not apply to centrifugal, screw, and piston refrigeration machines.
