- This standard is applicable to reliability qualification tests and reliability acceptance tests of carrier communication equipment whose life expectancy obeys an exponential distribution. It is also suitable for reliability testing of carrier communication equipment that has been finalized and put into production. This standard does not apply to the reliability growth test of carrier communication equipment. This standard refers to MIL-STD-781C "Reliability Design Qualification Test and Product Acceptance Test (Exponential Distribution)".
