Scope

This standard specifies the ICP-AES determination method for copper, iron, manganese, zinc, calcium, potassium, magnesium, sodium, lead, chromium, cadmium, cobalt and nickel in feed. This standard applies to the determination of copper, iron, manganese, zinc, calcium, potassium, magnesium, sodium, lead, chromium, cadmium, cobalt and nickel in all animal feeds. This standard does not apply to determinations where the minimum detectable mass concentrations of 13 elements such as copper exceed those specified in Table A.2 in Appendix A.
