Scope

This standard specifies the determination of soluble silica in water using silicon molybdenum blue spectrophotometry. It is suitable for the analysis of natural water samples and general environmental water sample analysis. The applicable concentration range is 0.04~2mg/L. The minimum detectable concentration of silica in this method is 0.040mg/L, and the upper limit of detection is 2mg/L.
