This standard specifies the determination of soluble silica in water using the silicon molybdenum yellow spectrophotometric method. It is suitable for the analysis of natural water samples and can also be used for the analysis of general environmental water samples. The optimal concentration range for determination is 0.4~20mg/L. The minimum detectable concentration of silica in this method is 0.4 mg/L, and the upper limit of determination is 25 mg/L.
