Scope

This standard specifies the spectrophotometric determination of boron in water using curcumin. It is suitable for the determination of boron in drinking water, surface water, domestic sewage and wastewater. The minimum detectable concentration (based on HBO2) of this method is 0.02mg/L, and the upper limit of determination is 1.0mg/L.
