Scope

This standard specifies the basic safety technical requirements for the design, use and management of sealed radioactive source libraries for oil (gas) field logging. This standard applies to the design, use and management of sealed radioactive source libraries for well logging in onshore oil (gas) fields. This standard does not apply to the storage of unsealed radioactive sources.
