Scope

This standard specifies the spectrophotometric method for the determination of carboxyhemoglobin in blood. The minimum detection concentration of this method is 2%HbCo. This standard is applicable to the determination of HbCo concentration in the blood of normal people and workers exposed to carbon monoxide.
