- This standard is formulated based on GB/T 13994 "Technical Requirements for 60-channel PCM/ADPCM encoding conversion equipment" and specifies the test conditions and test methods for various technical parameters of 60-channel PCM/ADPCM encoding conversion equipment. This standard is applicable to testing the technical performance of 60-channel PCM/ADPCM code conversion equipment used in public networks. Tests of code conversion equipment used in private networks should also refer to this standard. Except for some 2048kbit/s interface indicators, the tests specified in this standard should generally be conducted when the sending side of port C of any two-end device is connected to the receiving side of port C. Due to the multi-function, intelligence, automation and diversity of test instruments, the configuration of instruments in the test methods described in this standard should be principled.
