Scope

This standard specifies a gas chromatography method for the determination of nicotine in the total particulate matter in cigarette smoke. The smoking of cigarettes and the collection of mainstream smoke are generally carried out in accordance with YC/T 29. This standard is applicable to the determination of nicotine in total particulate matter in cigarette smoke obtained from standard and non-standard smoking.
