Scope

This section specifies other relevant test methods for aluminum foil. This method is suitable for sampling and analysis of chemical components of aluminum and aluminum alloy foils, sampling and testing of mechanical properties, determination of aluminum foil thickness, detection of hydrophilic coatings, and related test methods such as burst strength and water vapor permeability (WVT) of aluminum foils.
