Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of optical time domain reflectometers. This standard applies to optical time domain reflectometers and similar products. The applicable wavelengths of this standard are multi-mode short wavelength (0.85 μm), multi-mode long wavelength (1.31 μm) and single-mode long wavelength (1.3 μm, 1.55 μm).
