This standard specifies the general principles and certain specific methods that should be followed when drawing working drawings for medical device products. This standard applies to product working drawings in the scientific research, testing, manufacturing, repair and other aspects of the medical device profession. This standard also applies to process drawings, tools, molds and other process drawings, auxiliary drawings of products and other technical drawings.
