Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the specific surface and pore size distribution of rocks using the static nitrogen adsorption capacity method. This standard is applicable to the determination of specific surface and pore size distribution of rocks such as mudstone, shale, tight sandstone, limestone, gypsum rock and coal. The effective measurement range of pore diameter is between 1.5mm and 200nm.
