Scope

This standard specifies the measurement methods and technical requirements for crude oil viscosity in heavy oil reservoirs. Other rotational viscometer measurement methods and requirements can be implemented by reference. This standard is applicable to the use of RV20 rotational viscometer to measure ground degassed crude oil with a viscosity in the range of 10 mPa·s to 10^(5) mPa·s.
