- This standard specifies the calibration methods of relevant instruments used in the physical property analysis of volatile crude oil, the inspection of oil and gas samples, and the preparation, sample transfer, analytical testing and calculation methods of formation fluids. This standard is applicable to the analysis of the physical properties of volatile crude oil with windowed piston PVT cylinders. Other types of PVT instruments should also be implemented with reference.
