Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the inspection, evaluation and repair of vertical cylindrical steel welded crude oil tank bodies, accessories, corrosion protection, insulation and tank foundations. This standard applies to vertical cylindrical steel welded crude oil tanks from 200m^(3) to 10×10^(4)m^(3). Storage tanks storing other media and crude oil tanks below 200m^(3) may refer to this implementation.
