Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for refrigerators used in railway dining cars. This standard applies to motor-driven compressor packaged refrigerators (hereinafter referred to as refrigerators) used for food storage and preservation in railway egg cars. Separate refrigerators for special vehicle dining cars should be used today.
