- This standard specifies the type and basic parameters of railway dining car refrigerators, materials, design, manufacturing, performance requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and warranty. This standard applies to motor-driven compressor packaged refrigerators (hereinafter referred to as "refrigerators") used for food storage and preservation in railway dining cars. Separated refrigerators for special vehicles and special vehicles should be used in conjunction with the service. This standard does not apply to food freezing and cold section freezers.
