Scope

This standard specifies the performance measurement method for petroleum sulfonates used for oil displacement. This standard is applicable to the performance determination of petroleum sulfonates used in microemulsion oil displacement and composite system oil displacement, and also applies to the performance determination of other anionic surfactants used in oil displacement.
