Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements for drilling operations in hydrogen sulfide-containing oil and gas wells in terms of drilling design, equipment installation, well site layout, hydrogen sulfide monitoring, personnel and equipment protection, and emergency management. This standard applies to drilling operations of hydrogen sulfide-containing oil and gas wells in oil and gas exploration and development.
